In terms of service, this hotel is great. the staff is very polite, accommodating, and fast, and breakfast was amazing. In terms of cleanliness/clean feeling, its not so great. The bathroom was musty and kind of gross (the flooring, walls, and bathtub itself, the mirror and the counter were both clean), the sheets were stained, and also it was way too dark, even with the window open and all the lights on. Also our whole floor smelled like someone had recently smoked which made it worse. We stayed here because it was a last minute trip, and it definently has the quality you'd expect from the reviews. Overall, they've done their best to make a pretty old building nice, but it needs some work. It's livable, for sure. But its not the most affordable and comfortable hotel in Escondido. Its quiet, and pretty small, I'd say its probably not a great place for young children. If you need a last minute place to stay, and every other nice hotel is booked, its the place to stay. also please fix your elevators they're loud and clunky

I was not super happy with my stay. Upon checking in the desk support was amazing (dominic) He got us checked in and we went up. Once inside the room I begin my normal spray the room down with lysol and found the bed spread was nasty. I called down and he said he world send another up. While we waited my child showered. The tub felt grimy and nasty to my daughter and rust was around the drain. Once the second comforter came up. Although he said it just came out the dryer the stains were bigger than the ones I had on the original one. He did then offer me a solution, which I was greatful for. These things are small too some and big to others but I'm sharing. The hotel staff was great but they got to do better as an establishment with the small things.

We're in Escondido a ton and we just found this place. We won't stay anywhere else, now. Family friendly, free breakfast, plus its clean and up to date. They're resurfacing the pool now - can't wait to use it this summer. Great staff.. The lady at the front desk was wonderful.

We stayed from Tuesday until sat. Everyday the key card was changed ,I don't know why I had to replace card key after getting off work daily inconvenience. Was told I couldn't extend my stay 1 extra day , because someone else book the room already .so in looking for another hotel room for 1 nite .my family was able to get breakfast eggs &sausage juice ,coffee ,oatmeal ,the pool was open .very quite place to stay in n out & del taco in same parking lot ,across street shopping center target,Ross ,take out food etc. Nice area polite staff ,clean rooms
