Shopping is good there, aisles are usually big and clear. Good selection of items and the employees are friendly. However, the parking lot is insane!!! Too many cars going in different directions. I feel they need to make the parking aisles one way.

I have been a member since 1989 and love shopping at Costco Wholesale with one *glaring* exception. The pharmacy staff at the Rancho Del Rey store has exhibited very poor customer service, bordering on incompetence far too many times. Simple prescriptions have required multiple calls and poor communication on their part has resulted in multiple trips to the pharmacy on multiple occassions. They seem mainly concerned with how busy they are and relatively unconcerned with wasting their customers valuable time. I am opting out. I'm writing this review because this type of careless customer service will surely harm the larger business which I respect and have enjoyed so well over the years.

Tough to beat Costco for good deals on bulk items. But, they get 1 less star until they bring back the divine crunchy mini chocolate chip cookies that they discontinued. The cashiers are great at this location!

6-2-2022 Update Short lines before 12pm, a much quicker customer experience. Parking here is difficult and drivers have no patience. I witnessed a minor vehicle collision at the gas pumps last time I visited here. Be careful. ------ Great values here. Not everything is a great deal; I find the steaks, salmon, some snack boxes and other produce overpriced. There are essential items I buy here that area good value. The pizzas and other food court items are delicious and a great value.
