When it comes to touring senior living facilities, I am a bit of an expert. My dad suffered from dementia and was in no less than four different facilities (including mental health and memory care) in Arizona before we were able to find Sunrise at Bonita. The difference has been incredible: I could instantly tell when we first arrived that this place was different. The staff is friendly and respectful. The community members are tolerant, sweet, and active. My dad says that his experience between the Arizona facilities and Sunrise in California is like "night and day." Sunrise at Bonita is simply more of a community of care and less (to put it bluntly) a silo for old folks. I could not be happier for my dad. He was so sad and frustrated by rude staff and unprofessional management in Arizona, and I was too. Sunrise has brought new life to my dad, and for that I am beyond grateful.

I was looking for a new home for my grandmother. I visited Sunrise several times as well as friends of my grandmother did. We were are always welcomed when when they didn't expect us. The home is clean and inviting. We ended up moving into a different assisted living home only because it was close to my grandmother church. Thank you for all your patience
