Came in this morning at 2/3 AM with severe pain. On call staff (forgive me if that’s not the proper verbiage) was quick to get me into a bed since I was not able to sit or stand up for very long. Doctor was amazing and had incredible bedside manner that made me feel safe. Overall, I could not have asked for better service!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, my dad went to the emergency room, the staff were SO RUDE, literally they injected him a medication and did not tell him what it was. He started feeling worse. He was asking for help, and NOBODY went to help him, they ignored him. How would you people feel if your loved ones were being treated the way you treat the patients. Worst hospital experience ever!

I have completely lost trust in this hospital even though it has been our family’s go to for over 30 yrs. My deaf grandmother (96yrs old) has been in and out of the hospital over the last 3 years. In most cases they’ve tried to rush her out, ultimately determining that her stay would require more time and care. Mis diagnosis and failure to give accurate after care Information would have saved us at least one of her stays. It is unfortunate that we are having to stay outside the hospital at this time, the staff’s lack of communication regarding my grandmother’s care is unfathomable. This week we had to send my grandmother in and it took almost 24 hrs for us, her family, to get any kind of information about her care and when we did we were not given ALL of her prognosis, it would be almost a day later that we would know of another condition they were treating from the time of admitting. It’s sad that this is the only hospital with in reach for my family in Chula Vista.

Spent a few hours in the emergency room in mid February 2022. Received some tests that were done fairly quickly. All of the staff were very helpful, caring, and polite. The last person I saw before being discharged was Dr. J. Villano, who provided an accurate final diagnosis and some prescriptions, literature, and advice for my condition. Dr. Villano is an expert in dealing with ER patients and I appreciate the care I received. My wife was here in late February 2022 and also had a very good experience. Many thanks.

Hello John, For more information on the cost of delivery please call 1-800-82-SHARP. Thank you, Dani
The office is the doctors not the hospital. There is 3 buildings across the street from the hospital for all the different types of doctor's who work with Sharp hospital.
Buy insurance and add your wife, and you will only pay the deductible, which is regularly 10% for your wife's care, it does not cover certain services completely, but others covers 100%
