Make sure you go here and not across the bridge. This one is $5 and they are open to 5. The other one is $20, closes at 4, and I could not find anyone who spoke any level of English. So make sure you read the signs. OC dump is excellent. Team is friendly.

From the directions as you leave freeway, to the courteous, polite attendant at main gate (first time at this location so didn't know their routine) to the neat appearance, (and remember, you could say "this place is a dump" even if it's nice) it was a much better experience than I expected.

Car, SUV or passenger van is $5 as long as all the trash fits inside the vehicle. Otherwise it counts as a truck. Truck or commercial van 880 lbs or under is $20 or $25 for the load. Current rate for over 880 lbs is $58.18 per ton. Note: These are the rates for the Prima Deshecha Landfill, not the CR&R facility across the overpass.

The exit is off of Avenida La Pata and Prima Desecha. Depending if you're going North bound, it'll be to the right off the exit. Exiting South, it'll be to the left. It's the building with the green fencing around it
Dried paint is ok but no liquid paint is accepted. Call around to local paint stores. It's free to recycle paint at the stores but there is a daily limit.
No, no automotive parts. Your best bet would be to take it to a metal salvage/scrap yard.
