IHOP

I haven't been to an IHOP (or Denny's) in quite a while and was skeptical about this place. Two friends and I went here around 8 pm and each had breakfast for dinner. We've done this three times on Thursday nights. The place was a little beat up, worn out, with dust in the corners, and bathrooms that were borderline gross. But the tables and booths were all clean, no un-bussed tables just sitting and waiting. Our waitress the first time was pretty distracted even though she only had two tables. A little unprofessional but understandable, she came to our table with the check before we were close to finished and said she was clocking out (meaning, 'can you pay now to make sure I get my tip?') The food was hot, on time/quick, and pretty good. Standard IHOP fare nothing to complain about, nothing to be excited about. I wonder if things are better or worse earlier in the day as far as staffing and cleaning are concerned.

The food was a bit salty but that's normal for restaurants. I want to compliment the staff. My elderly companion ordered off the regular breakfast menu instead of the Senior menu my mistake. Although they couldn't refund the difference they were very polite and respectful in explaining our error. When we return I will help her order properly.

Service was nice. Refills were ready. As far as IHOP goes, the food was really good. Appetizers came out quick.

Good customer service. Clean restaurant. Service was fast. Friendly lady. She was very nice and attend to our order.
