I came on a Sunday to urgent care and there was a waiting line to get checked in (staff were in lunch) however the lady in the front did everything to go as fast as possible and get everyone in the system. The waiting time was relatively shorter than what I would’ve waited at Harbor UCLA. I was there for 2 hours. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Doctor Chen was amazing and charismatic. I loved my experience. Thankful my father recommended me to go here instead of Harbor.

That was my very first time visiting the emergency room at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital 5/15/22. The intake nurses at the drop off site for the main entrance to the emergency room was very nice and kind. They took all the information needed and took my vitals signs. Everything was fine and not much longer the nurse took me over to the waiting room to see the doctor. I was called in quickly to see the doctor and given the necessary tests for my swollen feet, legs and thighs for both legs. The doctor and all the medical staff were very nice and kind. They treated me well and I would recommend this emergency room to other people. I had a pleasant experience here.

Very nice and clean hospital. Our first time here The nurses (Ana Henry & Kristel Reyes ) were very attentive and took very good care of my son. The staff/psychiatrists was nice as well. Thank you again. Very satisfied.

My mother was admitted, she went to urgent care for her heart problems and the nurse told her before she was called in that her recent symptoms were alike to other patients that were suffering a heart attack. She urged us to go to Emergency rather than waiting 2 hours for Urgent Care, because she would only be admitted to the ER and have to wait 3 more hours to be seen. She ended up staying as an inpatient and recieved good care. She is okay, and she was relieved to find everything to be normal, her medication was just causing her problems but they switched those out for her too. I live a walking distance away from here. It's a very nice hospital, the waits are long but that is because they are backed up with so many patients and possible staff shortages. It's understandable in these times.

I could not find a listing of their obstetricians and gynecologists on their website. Yet I found this list online on a separate site; https://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/area/ca/martin-luther-king-jr-community-hospital-6930706/doctors
8 in the morning to 8 in the afternoon except the emergency. The emergency is 24 hours.
Yes
If your insurance has that coverage, maybe yes. It's just asking for it.
Yes. At the MLK clinic. The corner of 120th Street and Wilmington Ave. Mon-Fri 8am-3pm
Yes
I honestly would call in to ask I don't know if they'll answer here
Plant Parenthood does. Also Biene Estar and Out of the Closet is Free!
For outpatients would be our clinic next door to the main hospital.
I did not personally see one but I would assume they would
The Hospital doesn't have a pharmacy, The Pharmacy is located Nextdoor @M.L.K. Outpatient Center, 1670 E.120th St. Los Angeles, Ca. 90059
Depending on the need.
If it is after work hours and off the clock people are allowed to drink
8am to 8pm
Yes really clean. And good food.
If it's a good hospital, I recommend it
And
They do test for covid-19, but not sure if they do same day..
Supposedly they are without appointment and in other private hospitals it has to be done
Well before you go inside of the hospital outside of the hospital you have to make the Kobe test I know that because I'm working on construction of the hospital.
Idk honestly
If you don't have the actual "Clinic" number they work in, you can call the MLK Direct Line and ask to be connected to that office.
Not the ER/ED. They'll just treat you with pain management [meds].
8am to 9pm
Yeah...let the doctors take care of that.
Am not sure, I was just there for a few hrs.
Unknown
You call the investigator of the hospital to make a formal statement/ complaint. Then if you are not satisfied you call the city and raise a complaint.
No
No we don't. Not sure if our clinic next door takes care of that
Go to mlkch.org
Go check with the admission department...
School ID, birth certificate and or social security is fine.
Not Sure But I Can Check
I do NM to believe that qualifies for an. Emergency medical services. Plus it is and an Emergency Room so we don't do appointments. Try the Rosecrans office
I believe we do. Since we do have a mental health facility next door to the hospital.
The hospital

Hello first of all you have to go to a clinic to look at it and if it is very bad you can go to Emergency that if you have to take into account that if they do not have medical insurance they can go out very expensive and if they can go to apply for medical
Hi, you have to go to a clinic, they do your checkup
It was never the best. It's nickname was killer king. They're great now because it is completely upgraded, now it's in the top 3 hospital for me. As I frequent the hospitals almost monthly due to my illness, this is the best care I've received in 2017, 2018
We claro
I'm not sure if Martin Luther King just gives out turkey to the public but I'm quite sure they have families that are in need that they give support to if not someone needs to start
Yes they do hospitals full take all insurance
Yes someone carries a tray of coffee going to different floors some times but go to cafeteria
Well I have covered California medical. Which made MLK where I'm suppose to go. I was sorta scared at first but wow totally happy I had to go here it's amazing and I haven't had to pay anything out of pocket yet. But that could be because of my insurance
There is a clinic next door to the hospital that takes walk-ins. Also if you have insurance... The company can send you a booklet of drs or show you how to pull it up online.
I believe so but don't recall the name. It's under all new management. Much better service.
