This is a great park. Been here a few times. Clean bathrooms. Good play areas. We just discovered the nature Center. Kids really liked it.

Well-maintained nature center with indigenous flora. Lots of scrub oak prickly pear , castor, yucca and wild cucumber. Only problem was finding the entrance to the path.

Not a whole lot to see here, but cool if you have an hour or so to spare and you're in the area. There's a fun playground for kids

You can take it to the nature center and they will care for it and release it.
There is one ever year should be 1 there this year
They can be anywhere in our mountains, but in my 52 years, I've never seen them in that area. No need to be too concerned, unless you have a small child or dog along with you.
