I haven't been here in year's & I'm so glad I decided to! I use to come here often 13 year's ago & decided to bring my son for the first time in 6 year's & he loved every moment! There's different parts/paths to it all, but we generally go where the Temple is. I love seeing all the people who go, including kid's! If you go, I recommend taking a small backpack with essentials: water, bug spray, sun block & snacks. You could be there for hour's because there is so much to see!

I was a little disappointed in the park. The beach only had one shower. Vehicles were driving on the sidewalk. Some vehicles double-parked. A lack of Park personnel throughout the park however there was approximately 7 lifeguards. People had large areas roped-off for their private use.

My kids and I go to this park almost weekly. Love the walks here especially the lake and feeding the ducks. Lot of different jungle gyms for the kids. They also have a lake to swim and another side where the ducks are at they have little water boats to peddle.

Great family fun on a budget. Parking is $10 & if you plan on doing any kayaking it's $7 a day with your own equipment. If your plan on just resting and barbecuing, there are benches and tables. This park is dog friendly and is divided In Sections so it does not feel over crowded. Great for a day trip.
This is a creek, no beach here. Just hiking, bike and horse trails that follow alongside the creek. The creek is the over flow spilllway that comes from Puddingstone Lake at Frank G Bonelli Regional Park. Free parking, frogs, no fish, no camping or picnic areas. Bring your dogs on a leash.
The nearest I can think of is just off San Dimas ave and puddingstone drive on the north west side of the park. There's parking in front of the apartments there but you would have to walk from there.
Is not good to be by your self an any park but if you must go when there is plenty of people around! Thay way will be safe to be alone! Good luck and be safe!
Can u set up a tent anywhere in the park ? Or is it only in certain areas they let you camp over night.?

Are you asking about Walnut Creek Regional Park in San Dimas? It is a "Sunrise to Sunset" park only. There are lots of activities: hiking, biking, equestrian trails, swimming, etc., but no camping.
As long as the vehicle is 'street-licensed', has current registration with insurance, the operator/rider possesses a valid M1 'motorcycle endorsement on their driver's license, wear a helmet AND the operator/rider stays on the designated roadway = YES!

Yes...and no.
The water is not high enough for swimming. In addition, it hasn't rained therefore the water hasn't circulated and it might be a bit too dirty. Dogs are allowed and you still might want to try it.
I don't think anyone will stop you from fishing, but you probably won't catch any fish. I have never seen any fish in the creek since it's shallow. Good luck!
Your thinking of benillie park and as for when the beach portion opens I do not know just go and see for your self. P.S. I believe I spelled the name of the park incorrectly.
You can camp at their East Shore camping area. There are different levels with nice lake views for about $75 a night. Shower & restrooms on site. (909) 599-8355
Please advise if we need to make reservation for shelter area for Sunday afternoon BBQ function? Our groups is about 30-35 people, mostly senior/adult, may be 2-3 kids. Please advise where to make reservation for event to be held on 9/23/2018.
