a Noise Within is a wonderful little venue and respite tucked away in the suburban chaos that is East Pasadena. It was very easy to get there from downtown by the L Line light rail, which drops you off at the Sierra Madre Villa station about 400 feet from the theater. The theater itself is very tastefully decorated, light and airy and very comfortable. I saw 'Anna in the Tropics' which despite a 'minimalist' stage, thoroughly captured the audiences attention and pulled us right in to the story. Bravo to the actors.

Beautiful space, great acoustics, and very well run by staff. Parking was not obvious. You can park in the metro structure. We will be back for more productions.

If ever there was a time to support this delightful theater, it would be now! Just spent two hours (w/out intermission) enjoying their production of A Christmas Carol. Great staff, great seats, great everything, except more people.

Second time visiting and really liked it. Not a bad seat in the house. A little disappointed that they removed the lobby bar. Only water available. Bring your own snacks for intermission. Love the August Wilson plays that I've seen here, Gem of the Ocean and Seven Guitars.

can we get tickets at the box office if we arrive just before the performance?

As long as a show isn't sold out, you can get tickets at the box office. You most likely will be able to get tickets just beforehand, but I recommend calling ahead to see if tix are available, just in case.
