I have been living here for the past 6 months. The Location is very good and the apartments are well designed. Overall it is a great building and community around it. The leasing office people are very kind and helpful. However, the maintenance is not as good as the other things. They take very long to respond and barely fix anything and whenever I call or go to the office, they say the maintenence is having a "busy" week and they will get to you but never will. Overall it is a good please and i recommend it.

The Meridian is wonderful! I am so glad that I moved here. The Fitzgerald unit is a great fit and the layout makes it seem much bigger than 809 square feet. There’s functional storage, four closets, and spectacular views of lush, green space outside. Plus, the Strathmore Mansion and Rock Creek Trail are right outside. Everyone in the building is nice and the move-in process was easy. I’ve enjoyed working with Nadine, who is wonderful and a pleasure to work with, and Mike, who helped show me units when I first started looking. If you work from home, this is a dream location and building. Plus, it’s a great location. I would buy a unit here if it was a condo and plan to live here for a few to five years! I highly recommend it.

Be careful if you choose to live here--I would suggest putting something underneath your front door and installing a doorbell camera for your safety. I caught one of the front desk employees spying on me in my apartment through the bottom of my door. He used a letter opener to pop up the flexible stripping that covers a gap of space that's under my door. When I reported the incident to management, they not only dismissed my concerns, but they also went out of their way to tell me it was not possible to see anything (which isn't true because I checked myself) and that they never had any issues with the employee who I caught. They completely invalidated the severity of the situation and caused more harm to what was already a traumatizing experience.

I had a great experience with the neighborhood, management and staff. I had an amazing view of the east side green, with the the most beautiful sunrise. I definitely recommend this place.
