Been going to Heidi for like 15 years since they were on Hill. Heidi does an excellent job, I've never found a better stylist than her. Plenty of street parking on Saturday, I prefer the street over trying to figure out the parking lot situation.

Tatiana is so knowledgeable about all aspects of hair care but she is a pro at hair color. She explains the science behind what products do to your hair. Her cutting skills are over the top, layering in all the right places to get the perfect texture and movement of your hair. The salon is clean and managed well and it is always treat to spend time there.

I've had my hair cut by multiple hair stylists at Essence and every one of them has been great. Also, they are often able to accommodate last minute appointments and are flexible with hours.

Questions & Answers

I have two questions. Do we have to book an appointment or just walk right in? Also, I've been wanting to dye my hair pink. Do I buy my own dye/bleach or would they provide the bleach and if possible, the dye?

You can walk in however I strongly suggest to call and make an appointment. They will do everything there. I actually just had my daughters hair dyed bright purple. Came out amazing!! Liz H is my stylist. They are all great!!!!

I haven’t had a decent hair cut in a year my hairs dry and I’m just bored with my look. Idk what to do with it. I’m half black and half Mexican so my hairs curly but not too thick. It’s hard finding a place who knows what to do with my hair?

I have always seen Tatiana and still get compliments on my hair because of her great cuts/ style.

I have thick hair and got it cut short but gets poofy when dry. Are they that good that they can fix it? I want to be able to not use a ton of products to avoid the poof.
