I went to Tangles Salon years ago when I was probably 19 or twenty. I spent my first paycheck ever on a pizza and a haircut at Tangles and Lin cut my hair. It was the first time I had a professional salon style haircut. Since that time I have not always gone there to have my hair cut by Lin. However who I do go to tangles it is more often a special occasion it seems. I started going to tangles again at thirty eight years of age to have my haircut by the very same woman (Lin) for the beginning of a new jab. She cut my hair today (now thirty nine) and a family member of mine said “you look like yourself again “. Thank you Lin and Tangle’s Phillip

Incredible care and service by Nick Moses (GENIUS of haiiir). I went to Tangles for the first time two days before my 36th birthday for my first set of highlights. Nick was gentle, welcoming, and did a beautiful job. I went in nervous about getting my first highlights so close to such an important date but everything turned out wonderfully--and several weeks later I could not be happier. Nick's work has left me feeling sexy, confident, and eye-catching. I can unequivocally say that Nick has given me the very best do I could ask for. Thank you, Tangles, and thank you Nick. I'll definitely be coming back! :)

Kathy is a great stylist but agree with others on misquoted prices and it being expensive. It's because they charge hourly from what I can tell. Nothing against the stylists but it's never really clear what you'll be paying. Edit: it's only been a few hours but a new stylist moved up my extensions and did such a bad job at placement and attachment that 5 or 6 have already fallen out and all I did was walk home about a block away. That's insane. And they charge $130. I called really quickly to try to get it fixed or refunded and had to leave a voicemail and call the next day. They never picked up the phone or returned my call. It's been about two weeks now and most of the extensions have fallen out and torn a lot of hair out with them.
