So yes, they can be particular with visitors. As for the Lamp community, IDK. Lamp has never been one for being prone to domestic violence services. Tho, it is a new day.

Its sad but they dont help people. Unless you are lucky enough to get into their intake process which they only do once or twice a year. They give you dry bologna sandwiches and send you on your way.

Truly angelic. This organization probably does the most to help the homeless. They offer laundry, showers and locker storage for the day. It’s hard to get a job when you look and smell homeless. These guys help eliminate to obstacles to success.

I love this place. Really nice staff. A lot of the time its just nothing but smiles and happiness. The volunteers that come out and donate are a true blessing. Their services are really good for the homeless. The up keep of the place is top notch, in my opinion. Even if the homeless get rowdy and rough they are always helpful and are willing to help out a stagnant issue. They are very respectful! God is doing a wonderful job there and they tend to go far and beyond to help. One day if I ever win the lottery I would love to donate there and give back for all their kindness and hospitality. Im a regular.

It's a daily shelter it opens at 8 a.m. for showers 4 men and women they give you a sack lunch and you can see the doctor you can go at 1 to take a shower and dinner is served every day except Sunday at 3 you have to stand in line to get a ticket
Go and ask. Volunteer any time by passing out clean socks and water. Lighters, pop or coffee. Don't forget cream and sugar. People who live outside always need these things. Talk to them and find out more

It takes 5- 7 years to get help from them OR st . Joseph's, I would go to EDELMAN MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ON OLYMPIC AND S. SEPULVEDA. TELL THEM YOU HAVE DEPRESSION AND HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT SUICIDE. THEY WILL GIVE U A PERSCRIPTION FOR ANTI-DEPRESSENTS AND HELP U GET A SEC 8 VOUCHER FOR LOS ANGELES ( NOT SANTA MONICA) IT TAKES ABOUT 8 MONTHS. I DONT KNOW IF being an x felon AFFECTS ELIGIBLITY.
