Pros: Spacious Feels safe Responsive maintenance Amazon locker in garage Nice Staff in rental office Cons: Stink Bugs and little ants Thin walls (I can hear my neighbors on each side and above me) Although the ladies are nice, they're unresponsive Although, I rated 3 stars I would recommend. There are a few things that could improve that they actual have control of.

After living in Truman Park for over three years, I can say that the office always have very pleasant and helpful managers and assistants. The current maintenance supervisor, Francisco, is next to none. The trash service is fairly good, but it should be everyday. The outside walkways to our apartment could use security cameras and also the walkways and outside walls could use some cleaning to preserve the reputation of Truman Park. Although my rent has been skyrocketed; I extended my lease and I love living here.

Great place to move!!! Utonga (Assistant Resident) and Janice (Resident Manager) did really great job helping me transition to the Apartment Complex. There were a lot of hiccups in the beginning in July when I moved in and these two ladies went to work to fix the problems immediately. I can honestly say I enjoy living in Truman Park Apartments!!! Very safe and beautiful surroundings inside and outside.

UPDATE : it is now February 13th, I still have had no response from management, and still sleeping on my sofa. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! ORIGINAL POST: If I could give this complex less than one star I would. A month ago, pipe burst in my building and caused extensive damage to my unit. I contacted the office, & emergency line and no one called back. 4 hours later, I bumped into a maintenance staff worker and asked what was going on. He told me a sprinkler pipe bursts. It was 6 pm before I actually talked to anyone from the management office. Immediately they asked if I had renters insurance (which I do) and if I had filed a claim yet. I said I had not, as I had no idea what the extent of the damage was to my unit and belongings (photos attached). From January 7th-21st, work began/stopped/started again on my unit. My family stayed in a hotel, as the air quality in my unit was unsafe (water +moist exposed walls =mold and mildew). Also, none of my personal items had been covered with tarp or plastic as the contractors ripped open walls and ran 3 industrial blowers in my place for 5 days straight. By the time all was said and done, my belongings were covered in debris in addition to the damage the water had already done. I told the office staff about the damage to my belongings, the contractors leaving my unit in disarray as well as leaving behind their personal belongings (clothes included), and my dissatisfaction with the lack of communication regarding the progress of the work. I was told that my insurance deductible would be reimbursed and any other expenses I incurred that were not covered by my insurance. I have yet to receive any form of reimbursement. Finally, January 21st came about and the work was coming to an end—or so I thought. As soon as the workers left, I discovered that my bed frame and the cord to my home security system has been broken. I emailed the office to show pictures of the broken items and inquire about how the hell this happened. I received an apology via email and was told the manager would contact me the following Monday. I received a voice message mid afternoon that Monday from the manager. I called back 30 minutes later, yet, no one answered. I emailed the office to follow up and advised them that email was my best mode of communication during the day. Well, it has now been 16 days, 3 emails (that have been ignored), and countless unanswered phone calls to the office, and I have yet to hear any response whatsoever. I have yet to receive any form of reimbursement for my damaged items that my insurance did not cover, or for my $500 insurance deductible. I still have no bed, and I’ve been sleeping on my sofa since January 17th. Move into these apartments at your own risk.
