We would love this place except the smell of the water (smells strongly like sulfur). There were tons of flys, smelled like something died close to our camping area, we would also get intermittent smells of it throughout the park, don’t know if something really did die or what, never found where the smell was coming from. The bathrooms were clean. Never saw the hosts. Great for an overnighter because this place is out in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing to do. We washed clothes which is how we found out about the sulfur water, now our clothes smell weird. We took showers too, smelled the sulfur smell again. Very little shade. Spots were level and easily accessible. We will not be returning because of the sulfur smell, way too strong and very offensive.

Managed to get a full hookup site here on short notice after staying at a nearby state park with only water and electric, and a whole squadron of mosquitoes lying in wait for human contact, for several days. Management here is so friendly and accommodating and check in was fast and easy. Signage clearly informs who or what is available when. Management obviously cares about clearly and effectively communicating with their guests. Facilities are exceptionally clean and gravel sites reasonably level. Grass strip and picnic table for each site. Some shade trees. Laundry room with plenty of machines, quarters available in the office. Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, there is a strong sulphur smell coming from the water and the trailer filter could not remove it. Not a deal breaker though - next time I will arrive with a full freshwater tank and shower in the trailer. It is so pretty and restful here this extra effort is worthwhile. Highly recommend this park.

People were very helpful, bathrooms and showers were amazingly clean and warm considering the 23 degrees outside. There was a sulfur smell to the water but we didn't hook it up to the trailer. Very reasonable price and since our heater ran quite a bit, any road noise was not heard.

The host is very nice and we're helpful in picking a spot for my tent. The water smells of sulfur. The hi way is close. Bring ear plugs. The prices are most fair and showers are adequate if you can get past the sulfur smell.

The water is drinkable, yes it does smell, but it doesn't taste like sulfur. Also, washing your clothes isn't a problem, there is no smell of sulfur on them.
It is actually on same side of highway just across loafer lane to the north
