I went to Steve’s hometown motors in Weiser, looking at a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Took it for a test drive and found a few things that I wanted fixed before I felt comfortable purchasing. I wanted the multi switch replaced in the steering column because the turn indicators did not function and the windshield was cracked and needed to be replaced. I talked with the sales person I was working with and asked that these two items be replaced before I purchased the vehicle. The sales person said “we can work the multi switch into the deal and they replace windshields on all of their vehicles anyway for safety reasons.” I thought great let’s move forward on this. I knew from research what this vehicle was worth and I felt the price was too high. So they came down on price while adding the multi switch replacement and the windshield for safety reasons and the cash deal was made. Well, SO I THOUGHT. They got the multi switch replaced the next day and kept the vehicle there another day for the windshield replacement, and second day because windshields are only replaced on Thursdays. Called Thursday afternoon to see if it was ready, was told I was NEVER getting a new windshield because it was “not apart of the deal” I asked then why would the salesperson say “all windshields are replaced for safety reasons” they of course told me essentially this was not true. After bickering back forth on how Shady they are at Steve’s hometown motors the sales manager who only manages to piss me off even further tells me they will not replace at most $175 windshield to make the deal fair and right. This is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with, and I have purchased vehicles from Larry H Miller so I’m coming with experience. My advise to everyone, is to steer clear from Steve’s Hometown motors and their shady sales manager. They had an opportunity to make this right and they decided to turn their back on a customer because of $175.

Not unless it has that capability in it. GPS or lock system. If towed police might know or as other person said the bank that carries the loan.
