Nice park with lots of big trees for shade, RV place too. There are bathrooms w/ showers and a jungle gym park for thr lol ones. Replica of Fort Boise is here along with a armed forces memorial :)

Nice park for a small get together. They have many amenities like bathrooms, showers, r.v. and tent camping. There is even a replica of Fort Boise.

When I visited, this site was closed. Just visiting from the outside, it was rather underwhelming and in my opinion not even photo worthy. However, I do appreciate the attempt at preserving history!

Wow! If you love ❤️ to go back in time ⏲️ from the pioneers to today. This is the place. $1 donation recommended, but not required. However, it is definitely worth more than $1. Inside the Fort is your empty square courtyard surrounded by individual rooms. Each room takes you back in time where you get to see different outfits from days of old, a ton of old newspaper articles, pictures, and historical artifacts to look at, etc. Great playground for kids, (picture 📸 attached) Handicap ♿️ accessibility This place is open June, July, and August from 1-3pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you do decide to visit, you really should visit on Old Fort Boise days celebration, normally in June, with lots of hands on activities for kids, vendors, a parade, and even a car show, etc.

⛺,camper, motorhome,
It wasn't last weekend.
First come, first served. Pay at the kiosk or contact the park host.
Most likely for two reasons. It is a fully uncovered museum which means it gets all the elements inside. Also, I believe the workers may all be volunteers. However, I'm not totally sure on that. I would agree with you that open for only 3 months a year is definitely a short amount of time.
Generally open on the weekends but it's best to call.
You can only stay 7 days then have to leave for 23 before you coke back.
18 per night for camper rv....7day limit can't camp for 30 days then you can stay 7 days again
