Took phone in for a broken screen and was told it should be done in a week. I come back in a week and was told they had to order the new screen so it'll be ready in about 2 weeks. Finally 2 months after being told it'll be done in 2 weeks they call and tell me I can pick my phone up now. You'd think after taking almost 3 months on something that was only supposed to take a week they would offer some kind of discount for their screw up but they not only did they not offer me a discount but also ridiculously overcharged me. Not to mention when I got the phone back the microphone didn't work anymore even though it was perfectly fine when I brought it in. Do not bring anything here for repairs unless you wanna get screwed around and overcharged for mediocre repairs and the chance they break something else while doing said repairs.

I've been a customer for a few years for many devices. They are well-informed, quick and scrupulous about offering value. Several times they have talked me out of a repair or found me a reasonable alternative. When I do need a repair, they are very fast, have a deep inventory of parts, and I'm always impressed. They have me for as long as I keep cracking screens or needing accessories.

Yes they do
Most of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A releases are going to be a similar disassembly process and so far they use the same physical charging port. Pricing is going to vary based on if the port itself is replaced or if the "daughterboard" that carries the port is replaced but you should expect somewhere in the range of $60 - $100 depending on the repair shop, availability of the part that needs to be replaced, and the amount of labor required to disassemble the device and access that part.
The charging port for most iPhones is going to require removal of the display and quite a few screws along with their accompanying components (Taptic Engine, Loud-Speaker, etc). For that reason most repair shops are going to be pricing that repair somewhere between $60 - $100 depending on the quality of their parts, warranty, and customer service. If you're just having charging problems it's worth taking it in to an independent repair shop to see if they can pull cruft out of the port that may be blocking your charging cable before having the charging port itself replaced though. If Apple or an independent repair shop is not able to resolve a not charging symptom by replacing the charging port itself or the battery (which is also sometimes a culprit) all hope is not lost. The logic board itself, which is the brains of the operation, can fail and it can also be repaired which would fall into the "microsoldering" category of repair. Prices for resolving those issues range drastically.
