Highland Park Recreation Center

Highland Park Rec Center has a series of recreational facilities, including baseball field, basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas and even an outdoor swimming pool. However, I couldn't find public restrooms in this park. It's quite disappointing for such a decent size park that will for sure have a lot of visitors.

Wonderful place to spend a sunny afternoon in CA. Way off the tourist beaten path. Everyone from old hippies to hipsters just enjoying the laid back vibe with a magnificent view of the city.

The lady that is working there now during the summer program is very rude. She does not care about all children in the community only those she gets paid to care for. She claims to know the problems teens face in the community especially those who are AA. And she still does not care. Smh. She can do better. I think her name was Kim.
