Not a bad gym. Lots of people go but weight area is good. Lots of cardio machines. They have outside area, squash courts, gymnastics room, different classes during the week. They also provide towel services some hours.

Great hours and a wide variety of equipment with enough machines to ensure that you won't be waiting in line. Doors close 45 minutes prior to shut down. Always kept clean with peppy background music. Has store that sells protein shakes but bring your own because those are over-priced. Also has locker-room with showers and saunas. The lockers cost 50 cents to lock but no one will steal your stuff if you leave your locker unlocked.

Only during select hours, check UCLA recreational center hours of the facility to check the times. Depending which swimming pool you go to, it can be crowded or empty, there are two pools in the student activities center, and three at sunset recreation center (free admission to all students)
