I hired a wheelchair from Pico Medical for my once in a lifetime trip to Los Angeles and thanks to them I was able to go everywhere I wanted. The chair was at my hotel waiting for me to arrive and was collected efficiently at the end of the rental. I'd recommend Pico Medical if you need medical equipment while in Los Angeles.

Went in to buy a medical boot because my mom had a sprained ankle and Meynard came to the rescue! He immediately offered to go to the car and examine my mother’s ankle to make sure I was buying her the right product to give her some relief. Can not recommend this place enough. I love this place. Jay and Dee provided fantastic customer service akin to what customer service was in the 60's. They outfitted me with two new walkers and a few accessories and we're able to fit me with a very short cane. I wear out walkers and badly needed a new one. They selection of equipment is vast and quality top notch. Many thanks.

Hello, No we do not accept any insurances. You would have to find a company that accepts insurance and then start the lengthy process to get the equipment needed. You do not get to choose your style of equipment, you get what they give you. If you wanted to pay out of pocket for something you like or something the insurance does not cover, we have a wide variety of medical supplies.
I am assuming the chair you are inquiring for is a rehab or specialty type of chair... We do not deal with any type of equipment like that nor would we have parts for it. The company I recommend for that is Sherman Oaks Medical.

Yes, we have a toilet aid safety frame that you can take with you (portable). OR er even have a portable commode to help raise the seat and has the armrests.
Our hoyer lifts are manual hydraulic pumps, we do not carry all electric patient lifts.

Hello. No we do not refill any oxygen tanks. We have portable and stationary oxygen concentrators available for rental and purchase with a doctors prescription.

We have 14 french catheters but we do need a perscription.
We do carry compression socks in the moderate and heavy compression. We would need the patients measurements and/or we can measure them here in store.
We do have an in house repair tech who can do repairs on things like that (depends on damage) or it would have to be replaced.

We have regular wheelchairs in stock with accessories you can place on there to modify for stroke patients. We also carry cardiac / geri chairs.
We do not carry zippered stockings because the compression cannot be properly applied when there is a zipper right through he middle of the stocking. We have stocking donners which is a device to help you put on the stocking.
I have a variety of walkers with the 4 wheels and a seat.

Yes we have the Prevail disposable underpads in the peach 30x36 size and the green 23x36 size.
We have hospital beds for rental and for purchase. We also carry air mattresses and gel/foam overlays to go on top of the existing foam mattress.
