I love this place. I come here 3 days a week for wound care. Staff here are very friendly and so willing to help people out. Staff will listen to what you have to say and will help you figure out what you need to do. Love how staff is always cheerful.

This review is about the SLEEP CLINIC ... What was supposed to be a 15 minute drive turned into a 45 minute drive on the freeway due to an accident and lane closures... I called to reschedule the sleep clinic appointment but was told That I was fine and they would put a note stating I was going to be late. When I arrive, I check in and the receptionist calls to the third floor at the sleep clinic to confirm If I can come in or if I need to reschedule. Again I told them it was no problem to reschedule. The nurse called back and said it's fine and I can come up because they were just filling out the questionnaire and had just been brought back. When I arrived on the third floor I was greeted by a nurse who welcomed me and started walking me to the back room. Either a receptionist or nurse behind the sleep clinic reception desk said to the other nurse "I don't know why you're bringing him back there he's 15 minutes later than he said he was going to be here "she then rolled her eyes and shook her head and started messing with the keyboard on her computer very loudly. I point-blank told her she was out of line and tried to explain I already called earlier to reschedule this appointment because I knew I was going to be late. It was her office that told me to continue to the appointment and that it wasn't a problem. In the middle of me trying to say that sentence she cut me off numerous amount of times waving her hands and yelling "I don't care I don't care just go just go just go to your class you're already late you're already late "and kept repeating herself. I could hear the other members in the waiting room gasping saying "oh my god!" Also I had my seven-year-old and 13-year-old with me at the time. I asked to speak with the supervisor and she smirked and said "whatever do what you want " The other nurse said that she would make sure a supervisor was there for me when I got out of the class to which the other lady piped in again and said "yeah get to your class I don't know why you're wasting time here you need to hurry up and get to your class go go go go" and she laughed and walked off. I then confirmed with the lady bringing me back to the class if there was going to be a manager available after this class and she said yes. The class was over in 30 minutes nobody could be found and I had to ring the nurses doorbell several times before somebody came out. Nobody knew the name of the person behind the counter nobody could find a supervisor until the original nurse who walked me back said that she'll go ahead and take care of everything and she was sorry for the situation. I asked her if she was a manager or supervisor and she said no, I asked her why there wasn't a supervisor here like she promised and she said the supervisor left early for the day at 2:30 and so if I wanted to make a complaint I would have to make a complaint on Monday she then said she will talk to her about the situation to have a supervisor contact me Monday. I got home and filed a formal complaint with member services. The cost of my insurance was almost the same either staying with my provider and continuing to go to Memorial care or switching and going to Kaiser Permanente... I have a few friends who are Kaiser Permanente members and they have had positive experiences and it was cheaper to add my entire family on this plan. But I will be switching back to my previous provider once open enrollment comes up because of the situation I experienced today. I would potentially stay depending on how this situation is resolved. As a new member and my second visit to a facility of yours and this is how you treat your customers? I can't be the first person that this lady has talk to in this manner and I would be surprised if I am the only complaint against her.

At your 1st appt, you go through a short presentation learning about Sleep Apnea, the test & CPAP. Then you are given a small testing kit about the size of a tablet. The device & everything for the test is included. You wear the device for one night (or as many nights as the Clinician determines) They give you written instructions also. My device consisted of a square recorder about 4"x4"x1" that had two long straps attached; one wrapped around my tummy & the other my chest...they are adjustable and non-constricting. You clip the device to your PJ's. There is a small nasal tube which wraps over the ears & just under your nose. There is no mask! Follow instructions to turn the device on. In the morning you drop it off at the clinic. You get your report at your follow-up visit plus the CPAP machine to try. IF you are claustrophobic, you have SA & can't stand the mask, ask about Mouth Guards. The Clinic will not tell you about them as an option so you must ask!
