The library is pretty big and has each of their own sections, as well the librarians who work there help in mainly what you need. I do love coming to get many books here.

Nice local library. I like well divided areas for children, teens and adults. The general area though needs some booths like on the teen side. A more secluded area would be nice for studying. The library does a good job to highlight books that are trending. Bathrooms were clean. Everyone seemed nice. I was told to put my mask on so expect to comply with any mandates. Plenty of parking but they need to landscape the garden area and add electric vehicle chargers.

Super cute library! The only downside is that there are few places to eat a packed lunch (save the concrete benches out at the front entrance) which makes it difficult to study there for long periods of time. The many desks do offer outlets, though, and the WiFi and parking is free (a huge plus for high school and college students). They also enforce wearing masks, which keeps the community safe. The facility, including the bathrooms, is kept organized and clean. A wonderful place for kids to do homework or read books at.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this library!! The kids love the computers, selection of books & kid friendly programs. Also, can't forget the garden outside!! They look forward to our library day each week! I'm thrilled with the study rooms, complete with white boards & outlets for charging devices. Your staff is so helpful & kind...just can't say enough about this marvelous facility!! Good job Long Beach!!!

Honestly friend : with the exception of an official declaration of a "state of emergency" or some special event, never heard of any Public Library actually being open on Sundays.

If you lost your card, there might be a $2 charge for a replacement, it might be free if your card wasn't used in the last few years. to get a replacement library card or new card we need to see a picture ID with verification of current address, if not on your picture ID, something official that was mailed to your current address like a utility bill, phone bill etc.
Yes for the pass and no for the printer. Once you get your pass you can print whatever you want but it's $0.10 or $0.05 for a paper.
