Amazing! Taking a pontoon boat down the river was so beautiful. Prices were great! We all had a great time.

Been coming here every year since β77 and itβs still beautiful.

This is my favorite place in Oregon for camping and day trips π Just 40 minutes from Redmond, the day use area is perfect for our dogs to swim while we enjoy the view. Plus, the Deschutes campground across the bridge is the best! Theres a playground for kids and a fenced dog park right in the tent camp loop! Beware that there's no cell service - but that's part of what makes it so great π On semi-cloudy days, we're typically the only ones in the day use area, and in the summer time, the crowds aren't crazy since everyone is out on the water in a boat π€ I would argue that this is the best kept secret in Central Oregon π

Absolutely love this place. So beautiful. Quite a journey getting down to the campsite. Very steep but our 32β RV made it with no problem. Cell service is non-existent but is it ever quiet here. The hikes and views are worth it.

Haha good pitch
Yup roads are good, a few switchbacks... but if you're a competent driver they will be cake
Currently Bull trout and Brown trout. Use a spinning rod and throw sinking rapalas sinking rapalas wont work! Tight lines and good luckπ
Yep! We brought ours and saw several others. But please keep them leashed!
No problem. These are roads designed for trailering large boats.
Yes they have water everywhere but I'm not sure at the dump station
At the top of the canyons before you come down towards the water you will have good signal, even 5G, but at the base on the water level there is no signal/wifi unless you are using a satellite phone or the Cove Marina's wifi.
There's a nice swim area that you can a life jacket. You can rent them at the marina.
