So many mosquitoes that you’re probably swatting and waving mosquitoes out of your face just as much as you are moving your feet to walk. So guess it’s a good workout. Lol Highly recommend bug repellent for this trail.

Very beautiful, nice trail, wonderful river access and views all around. Very easy to find awesome spots all along the paths! Will definitely be taking the family here again. Will note that I didn't go the entire trail but alot of the time it was wooded but close enough to the main roads that I could constantly hear cars. Not a deal breaker for me but I know sometimes were trying to get away from all the man made noises and just relax, this spot is not entirely quiet but makes up for it with the close to home views and fun for a quick family walk/hike/swim!

This was a beautiful place for a walk! If you are into birding and/or nature photography you will love it here! I visited late in the afternoon so I only saw a handful of different birds which included Canadian Geese, Sand Pipers, Sparrows and Egrets. There is a platform that you can walk up on that provides amazing views of marshy wetlands and it’s gorgeous (see pictures). Definitely recommend place! Do note that a Federal Recreation Land Pass is required to park here and you can grab one at any place that sells fishing licenses.
