Horribly rude and incompetent classist management who told me I was not allowed to sit on their porch by their office on an bench, with my 2 children while it was 97 degrees outside and we simply needed a shady place to sit to break for a moment while out on a walk across the park. We had sat on the same bench the day before and the office lady was very friendly, but the next day the manager explained she was only so nice because she was new...apparently they train you to be rude to single mothers here.The energy woman had triggered my ptsd. She acts annoyed if you simply ask a question. However, I will say this lake is gorgeous and it is still worth going if you need a spot, but don't stay more than a night or 2. The guy who posted the review about the lawn mower was not wrong.

I just loved it. A huge water body and you can stay right in front of the water. There are permanent RV residents too loving in the site. I personally love water and this particular site had not people around, and was in a calm surrounding. I just sat there for sometime and listened to the nature. You can day visit or stay at night if you have an RV.

Beautiful view of Fern Ridge, quiet & beautiful place. Has a dock to go on or picnic bench. Beautiful place!

No electricity or water but we made due. Loved the quiet and calm location right in the water. Worth every penny.
