Great place for a walk to enjoy local natural area, a historic site and fish hatchery. Much of the facility is used for Environmental Education. Lovely area, adequate parking, great for kids to learn about fish, hydrology, and nature.

Went for a quick trip after going to the water resource center. There were about 9 different spots where fish would be but only one spot had fish in it. We found out later that they had just completed a dump of fish at Lacamas Lake. The worker that we ran into was very educational and shared that there were about 8,000 fish in one of the small runs and that they would be placed into Lacamas, Klineline and Battle Ground. He also shared about an upcoming fishing event for little ones in May or so. There was an opportunity to feed the fish! It was so much fun. There were so many trails that could be walked and different parts of the springs that could be visited. Overall such a nice way to get outdoors and to learn about fish and their habitats!

In the nearly 40 years I've lived in Vancouver, I had never been here before today. Beautiful place, with many smaller (less then a mile) trails to explore. 2 little lakes to walk around, kiddos spotted some bunnies, ducks, fish, and a crane. Decent sized parking lot with a very small amount of people here. Well kept, clean and some great spots for some pics. This is also located next to a smaller bike trail. Fun little spot for an adventure with the fam. Will go back again to explore the 2 trails we didn't do this time.

Amazing hidden gem, tucked away amidst some very fancy houses. The walking isn’t strenuous at all, and is actually like 90% flat/slow incline. That being said, you can really immerse yourself here in the woods because it’s so tranquil. There were others on the trails but it was extremely easy to maintain distance and walk privately. The photo opportunities were also endles💙 (* The railroad tracks are directly across the street if you’re into that sort of thing… I personally love walking along with the tracks)
