Nice view point from the top. Lots of dogs. LOTS of narrow stairs to get down to the beach to go into the bowl. The water was deep when we got there so sadly couldn't go over. Couldn't get to the other path supposedly able to access to get into it. No directions at all how to get to the beach or to get down into the bowl either. The beach was super nice even if very windy. Bathrooms at top of stairs were decent. On the beach many of the dogs were off leash.

This is a great place to realize what mother nature has to offer to us. Great vista's around this 200 degree view and understand the contrasts. Cliff's, plains, rocks, sands, surfers and ice-cream stores, all is available.

I'm glad we stopped here on our way out of Newport! It was a really cool view with a nice little park area attached. Lots of outdoor seating, some cute shops nearby, lots of easy access parking, and seems to be a surfing hotspot too. Would recommend seeing this natural wonder.

One of those places where I want to give a one star rating so that other people don't blow this place up and show up to have parties and get this area restricted to the public. Great location to check out. Wish they'd change the name. Don't fly drones here tho 😉 the sign says not to, I promise I won't bring one next time 🤞👍

Not at Devil's Punch bowl however there is not far away at Beverly Beach.
Its decently chilly!
My understanding from my youth was that it looked like a huge bowl and had this red discoloration around it's inside making it look like a punchbowl and because of its precarious structure it was not a "nice" bowl, lol, hence, the Devil's Punchbowl.
