This is a nice beach area. It's pretty busy with people. The space is large and open, i believe that's what attracts so many people. The waves start quite a ways in so there is space to set up umbrellas and have a picnic or fly kites. You do have to park across the street and walk under the street through a tunnel to get to the beach, so if you have a lot to carry that might be a bummer and the tunnel can be kind of sketchy if you are alone, so beware. It's definitely a pretty beach. **By the way there are NO AGATES :(

Beautiful deep sandy beach, lighthouse-and-cliffs view, extremely easy access, what's not to like?

The tunnel under the road crossing from the paved parkimg to the beach is sketchy and covered in ugly graffiti. I wouldn't hang around there at night. The beach is great, beautiful view of the ocean, and the sunset. Not much in the way of agates to be found though. Free random picnic table condiments!

Excellent beach with many dunes. Very walkable. Someone had a small remotely operated dune buggy racing over the dunes, another person was flying a kite, a third playing the sax. Not empty but not crowded like Seaside. Very relaxing. Pretty to look at.

No
No, but there is a walk from the parking to the beach. So for handicapped or small children be advised. Also.. this beach is known for drifting small dunes.
It's just a day park. Down the road there is over night parking in a couple miles.
