This Safeway is way better than shopping at Fred Meyers, the employees here are so helpful , will offer to help take your bags to your vehicle and the cashiers!!! , friendly, polite. Fred Meyers should send their employees to train there.

Safeway is my preferred grocery store. The parking is much easier than at other grocery stores. They have everything I need which I cannot say about other stores. The employees are great, especially Bram who checked me out today. He was a good representation of the Safeway brand. He did an excellent job bagging my groceries.

Florence Safeway has a gas station as does Fred Meyer. Fred Meyer probably has less expensive gas.
Social distancing, mask required and they clean the carts.
