Good dog park in a pinch. It's small about 30 x 100 feet, but clean. It has easy access after walking a few hundred feet from the parking lot. It can comfortably hold about a dozen dogs. The six we encountered there were properly behaved, social critters. There's no grass; it has wood chips over a rubber liner/ barrier. There's lots of grass and a "pet relief" area in other parts of the park.

Wood chip filled enclosure that's large enough to play fetch in... With a couple benches. Quite literally enough space to go "off leash" with not much more.

This park is fun. The playground equipment is more for elementary age. There is only baby swings for littles. I recommend a splash pad and updated equipment or a skate park for all ages. I saw lot of folks on wheels. There is plenty of space going unused.

Maybe it was the name? Maybe it was all the other Parks I've seen in the Pacific Northwest so far? But calling this a dog park is like calling pulling your kid down the street and a wagon going to an amusement park? This dog wood chip Park is a very interesting idea. They had to tear up the green grass to put down the chunky wood pieces, it's not even wood mulch which is at least somewhat easy to walk on oh, these are actually just a little chunks of wood. And it is obvious as you can see from the pictures that someone didn't realize that the wood chips would be able to just flow out through the chain-link fence? And then once they figured it out they had to put boards around the bottom to keep the wood chips from getting out!! But then you notice the wood chips are able to pile up against the fence reducing the height of the fence from four feet, which is still questionable, 2 less than three feet in some areas. Which makes you wonder why not just let the dogs run free in the grass? Or, you could take home a bunch and it would make real good kindling for your fire I am sure!!! But this is another one of those Parks if you are out visiting dog parks and only have a limited amount of time this one is probably one you should go ahead and miss? I did find the little seating area, with the two strangely shaped benches, a little different, almost like that show Portlandia? But then they had one sitting outside all by itself? Maybe it Hitman bad? But those are the only places to sit down except in the wood?
