They sold me a new 2022 FX and installed LED turn signals on it for me. They did a good job in the back, but the front was done badly and the electrical connection failed. I didn't want to take it back in because they're an hour away, but without taking it in (did send pictures tho), they couldn't figure out how the front was done the way it was. Whoever had done it didn't follow the shop's normal procedure. But... The story doesn't end there unfortunately. I had written a slightly more negative review than this one (though now it's going to be objectively less negative). I was still planning to come back here if, heaven forbid, I need warranty service for some reason, but that happened real soon. I picked up the bike on 4/28. I got a BMS error on 5/29, and emailed them and Zero about it. They said for me to continue getting service from them, I would have to remove this negative review, and any others that exist. They stated this explicitly in an email. I believe that is actually totally legal, but it doesn't look good to me! I'll be going to New Century Motorcycles in Alhambra from here. Also the LED turn signals from Zero are pretty weak, I recommend Rizoma's. Part number 64114937066 from KTM is what I'm using and they look better and are much more visible! ktm-versand.de has the lowest price I've found.

I just wanted to thank you and your staff for your excellent service. The bike is riding great now and I'm getting used to the new brakes and tires, big difference! Special thanks to Pete for all the work he put in on the bike. He worked with my schedule and clearly communicated all the information (parts, labor, price, time needed, pickup arrangements, etc.) He's a down to earth guy to deal with and pays attention to detail. He also didn't try to sell me anything that wasn't needed. I'm a customer for life and grateful to have your shop nearby. I read horror stories about people in areas where access to knowledgable Zero mechanics is limited. That's not the case with Hollywood Electrics. You have the best Zero shop in the world and that reputation is well deserved.

I live far from Hollywood Electrics, but also far from any Zero Motorcycle dealer. I got stuck on a tech issue and an email to Harlan gave me some tips and my bike is in top form again. Awesome service, and thanks from Ottawa, Canada!

These are decent, hard-working people. I bought a motorcycle from these guys without even getting within a thousand miles of their store. I don't know what they look like. I can tell you that Carl chuckles on the phone frequently. The motorcycle they sold me is everything I was promised. If more people could exhibit the kind of character that these folks do, the world would be a better place.

Any of the Zero Motorcycles would be good for learning, but the FX is lighter and easier to handle for a beginner. At Hollywood Electrics they can give you info on a beginner riding class that will teach you to be good and safe, and it will reduce your insurance costs.
