Absolutely beautiful place for walking, low grade hiking, biking and stunning photos all right behind your home! Pathways veer off in many directions, and are mostly gravel with some grass coverings. Within walking distance of 4 corners, maybe 15-20 minutes. We love it! Perfect for most anyone really.

Endless hiking close civilization. Trails can get narrow and thorny. Easy elevation and not too challenging for kids or beginners.

All the trails in this area have fairy tale names :) there are edible berries everywhere! The trails can be up hill, downhill, steep and even flat. You can even find fields filled with wild flowers. Also if you can, go and check out the pond. If you try and circle the pond you may find fishies taking naps in small pools of water.

Where should we enter the natural area if we want to do the gnome trail? I drove past it and see where to park, but am not clear on where to enter.

Across from 279th Street Park Southside of Maple Ridge way. I don't think there's a sign for the entrance so you just need to look for the barrier posts

Can you use a stroller on these trails?

Depends on the stroller. A jogging one might work, but some of them are pretty rooty and bumpy.

No, you cannot. It is RR land for the most part, and state park the rest. And no motorized vehicles are allowed in either.

Do they have paved bike trails?

There are no paved trails. Most of the trails are dirt single track, with some double track connector trails. Some trails are one-way only, but they are marked. There is a nice map at the trailhead with all the trails labeled.
