The absolute best apple fritter I have ever had. This place is a hole in the wall, doesn't even really look open from the outside. Another reviewer gave a great description and we had to try it for ourselves. The other doughnuts were really good as well. From now on, when I think of doughnuts, I'll think of this place. Nothing fancy or gimmicky, just good old fashioned the way doughnuts should be. I'll admit that yes, sometimes I like my fancy gimmicky doughnuts, but this place is traditional and exactly how I imagine a traditional doughnut should taste.

Like the sign says, "best donuts in town". I love their version of the fruit filled donuts. Voodoo is just a gimmick and not really the greatest dough. This place knows not only how to get the fluffier donuts, but also can get that nicely done slightly crispy outside texture that is unmatched anywhere else I've ever had a donut to date. The best donut I've ever had by far.

I’m writing this review after having just accidentally demolished an entire gigantic apple fritter without even making it out of my car first. There’s a mess of crumbs and bits of icing all over my overdue pregnant belly and I’m feeling like such a cliché, but I have take this embarrassing moment to tell you to go try these apple fritters! They’re kinda crunchy on the outside and have THE BEST soft, pillowy dough inside that’s full of apples and spice. I don’t even really love doughnuts, especially not apple fritters, but this pastry is incredible and worth every bit of its $2 cost (or is it $3? I don’t even care, just take my money and give me more fritters!).

I got a Too Good To Go order from Donut Queen for my first visit, and daym do they spoil us. It's clearly their mission in life to give everyone diabetes, because they do not scrimp on the layers of icing inside AND outside their fluffy-yet-somehow-still-crispy dough. The apple fritter was larger than my two hands spread side-by-side, and the cream filling was literally bursting out of the center of another. I couldn't finish a whole donut without the sugar hurting my throat, but my BF had no such problem. Yes, the setting is sad and drab, and apparently that was the case even before the pandemic. I guess all the love goes into the food.
