Update; 8/ 2022 Camping is good and it's a clean place. Not so busy during the week. My only complaint is, there's a 5mph speed limit on the dirt and gravel roads and no one seems to care of being polite about it as they speed past all the campers and raising so much more dirt and dust that usually ends up blowing past the campers getting into their foods and such. From what I can tell, it's the day use visitors and the boat launchers that are doing this. Basically it's just rude. 2019 Things are getting back to normal since the shut down and closure of the resorts there. The water is cleaner than I have ever seen it. Clear to see the bottom edges around the lake. The wildlife is thriving. Let's keep it that way and clean. I ask one thing of the smokers and vape smokers... Please be responsible for the butts and vape cartridges and disposal of them. You wouldn't want a pet or child to pick them up and put in mouths to become sick from it. The vape cartridges are of pretty colors and smell like candy. Everyone... Please keep our beaches and lakes clean.

very nice place, the water was not too cold so it was enjoyable to get in. they also have life jackets you can borrow which is very convenient. the only complaint is the bathrooms weren’t the best.

Beautiful place to go for the day for fun and watersports of all types, but that was before the fires. I inadvertently thought the launch would be accessible, and found out the hard way. Nothing but devastation right now, and the next 3 day use areas past the Flats: Lake Berryessa, Oak Shores, and Smittle Creek are closed until further notice. My guess they will remain that way until next season. What a loss. πŸ˜ͺ

I would like to start by saying I have been coming to this lake and this camp ground for over 30 years. I was very sad it was closed for several years and excited to bring my family when it opened again. However, I am very disappointed in the way it is currently being tended to. The pit toilets are filthy and while the toilet is cleaned, out the actual bathroom is never cleaned out. I stay here for a week at a time and they never once go in and wipe down the toilet or wash the floor or the walls. We actually ran out of toilet paper and asked someone working here to bring some and were told we could go and get it ourselves. The toilet paper is locked on a roll hanger and we would have to put it on the nasty peed on floor and never gets cleaned. They finally brought some down to the toilets about 20 minutes later but still did not clean it out. There is no light in there at night and they are both dark. One bathroom has a light, although it goes off at a certain point and doesn't come back on until the next evening. The toilets are too tall for little kids and if you need to change you have to put your clothes on the floor, which is never cleaned. There are no showers here so because of that my teenage daughter and her friends will not come up here. Please improve this campground. Put the showers and the marina with gas back in. Put the water faucets back in the campsites. You have water access up at the RV dump, which you charge extra for, when no one else charges you for the duration of your stay at their facilities. With the amount you charge to camp per night, the money that is charged for my jet ski to be here, and the money you are charging to dump, you should be reinvesting and making this a resort like you are advertising. I could get many more friends to come with me and my entire family. We love this lake and could have so much more fun as a whole family, but only if this campground would make some improvements and make any effort toward being a resort area.
