My wife was falsely accused of shoplifting here. The manager approached her and said she hoped she'd be paying for items she placed in her purse, when she opened her purse to prove she hadn't taken anything the manager turned her back and walked away. The cashier was apologetic saying that shoplifting is a big problem there, which is unfortunate. Is the remedy for this just to walk around and accuse everyone of being a thief? Absolutely unacceptable. My wife and I have both enjoyed shopping and spending money here, that will obviously not be happening anymore.

Above and beyond customer service!! I ordered the Trudeau sectional sofa online and was going to pick it up in the store. To my disappointment, I realized that the chaise piece was on the wrong side. I asked store associate, Jacob, to cancel my order. Another associate or maybe the manager? Renee was with him and pointed out that the sofa comes with the left piece if I wanted it. I was pleased to learn that the couch would work out after all and I just needed to order the correct one online. After I left the store, I got a voicemail from Jacob saying that they actually had the left facing Trudeau couch in the store. A customer has placed it on hold but never picked it up. He told me that once their hold was up, I could come back the next day to pick it up. The next day came and I called the store to make sure they knew I was going to pick it up. To my surprise, before I had even finished telling them what I wanted to do, the store associate already knew about it! They already placed it on hold for me and said I could pick it up anytime that day. When I arrived to pick up the couch, it was super easy as the store associate already had the piece of paper with my information on it and even honored the 25% off coupon I initially used on the wrong couch. Renee and Jacob had arranged everything and I didn’t have to go through the trouble of explaining anything. Great communication all around! Renee was there when I picked up the couch. She and everyone involved was so helpful! I love my new couch and it’s better than I expected. Beyond that, I am so impressed by the fantastic customer service I received from everyone in the store, particularly, Jacob and Renee. I feel that they went above and beyond. They could’ve let me walk away with just the idea that I’d buy the couch online but they made sure to communicate and helped me get the couch in store. Thank you world market team!!

I love this store! It is fun just to wander through and look at the unique items. Great place to find gifts any time of year, but at Christmastime they have beautiful ornaments, Christmas treats from around the world, and perfect little stocking stuffers for kids and adults alike. After having done much travel in England, my son and I like to go to this store to pick up our favorite UK sweets. My only suggestion is to check expiration dates.
