Arrived after the dinner rush. It was pretty chill. People were nice. 4 starts because it took them a while to take our order, and then quite a while to give it to us (with only one full meal). The food was good, the pie-shakes were good, but the slice of pie which was a little cheaper would be better than the shake (a lot of crust in the shake, and not a whole lot of filling). I'd come back here. 👍

My 12 year old son and I went here for our yearly mother's day breakfast. I would like to say Tom, GM, ensures his customers and staff are taken care of. I was impressed that Tom came to our table along with servers making sure all was good and if we needed anything. I mean a GM checking on his customers was impressive and made me feel important as a customer. Thank you Tom! It meant alot to me and it's a great thing you do. I want to thank the cook for excellent food...jackie was our server and she provided excellent customer service. She always checked on us....thanks! Another exceptional server is Amber. She was our server about one month ago. Her service, smile, and energy makes an exceptional server. Thank you All!!

So far this was my best experience at a sherris around here. I took my 3 year old daughter out for lunch and the kind waiter seated us at the window with a view of the ducks and duck pond. The wait wasn't too bad and the food (best fries of any restraint in my opinion, the thick steak fries, and chicken steps and delicious pqncakes!) was hot and tasty. I appreciated the manager and (who seemed extra cool) who was making his rounds that afternoon and personally grabbed me sauce and ketchup for my chicken, as well as my waiter who was just starting but did great IMO. When I went to pay, the receipt printer didn't work and they had to troubleshoot the glitch, and when I got my receipt there was nowhere to leave a tip! I told the nice manager that I wanted to tip my waiter and he was like "oh sure, yeah, we don't like pressuring people to tip, that's something YOU HAVE TO EARN." This guy is the first person to get it, seems like lately everywhere you go crappie servers expect tips as a given. I gladly left a few bucks for my waiter, can't say enough kind things about this stellar staff here!

The best thing about this Diner is the service! Our wait staff were on top of everything. ⏰ We had to wait awhile for our food, about 35 minutes. It was quite empty since it was their first day of opening since covid. The decor could use an update. The food was average and comparable to most diner food.

Masked staff, seating 6' apart (every other table or booth is closed, menus are sanitized after each use, as well as salt and pepper shakers), hand sanitizer close at hand at register. Very Covid compliant.
Check their website for specials. They have several discounted items through the enx of the month.
Artificial sweeteners have nothing to do with E. coli. And they serve artificially sweetened pies so diabetics can enjoy a pie every now and then just like the rest of us. If you don't like it, don't expect them to stop serving it—just get a different pie.
Portion control is important, otherwise we over eat. Often times portions are larger than we can consume. Let the brain register it's consumption. 😊
