I actually had never paid the extra for the "XD" experience, but I have the Cinemark app and a free ticket and it included the upgrade. I enjoyed the experience, and while I cannot tell you all the differences (because I was wrapped up in the movie), I enjoyed the vibrating from the chair. At first it was noticeable, but then it was part of the movie and it felt right. Speaking of the chair, the backrest and the footstool operates independently of each other. I do not like my feet all the way up, and I was able to recline and have my feet at the angle. I, probably, will be doing more "XD" in the future.

Movie theater website allows you to order tickets in advance plus seat selection. Very convenient. Also allows you to order snack food items ahead of time. Multi level (free) parking garage located across the street. Inside the theater you will find a comfortable, electronically controlled recliner. So comfortable sometimes movie guest fall asleep. The Dolby sound system is incredible. If you're running late there's about 20 minutes of movie previews prior to the start of the feature. Enjoy!

Overall I've always liked this theater. Took my granddaughter to see Sonic 2 on a Tuesday afternoon and we were the only ones in the theater. It was like a private showing π€£ my 5 year old granddaughter was very excited about that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The seats reclined and over all comfortable. The only reason for the 4 star was the hot dog they served was horrible.

Love this theater. Parking garage across the street. Have reg. & kettle corn popcorn & several meal items for a missed meal. My only complaint is they need little tables at each recliner chair for food ease. Lots of nearby restaurants for b/4 or after show that are walking distance.

Best to check online by phone or computer. You can search all theaters in your area for movies and times. Where I live there are three theaters about ten minutes apart in moderate traffic and the same movie is staggered about twenty minutes in each theater. So I can actually decide to go at the last minute and make it to any of the theaters quickly. Oh by the way sign up to buy your tickets online and use your phone to scan at the kiosk.
They have 16 theaters so a lot is showing. Best to search for century theatre Pleasanton Hill to find out.
Depends on what day you go. They have discount Tuesday everybody all day 5.75. All other prices you can easily find on their website
Yes they are available either way
No brenden theater in Concord , and Martinez theater on center
Yes
Just so you know, all or 99% of us on here are consumers just like you trying to help, mostly when we give a review of a company it asks us if the place has public restrooms, free parking, wheelchair accessible, is the place clean, do they have a variety of (whatever the place sells) we have no idea of the particulars such as when movies start, how much tickets are (I'm using the theater for an example) so if/when you need specific answers you will need to call them directly. We can answer questions about what we see is all we can do.
Thanks everyone for your input. I can use my student ID and get a discount at AMC on any given day. Trying to find out if its similar at Cinemark Century theaters and still not clear.,
You can use the Cinemark app too.
420pm, 715pm, 1005pm. And in XD is 535pm and 830pm.
The theatre in Pleasant Hill also has a device for viewing with captions. This has made it possible for some of us to actually go see movies again.
I'm not sure of your question. If it's "do they have one", then yes, you'd need to talk to the manager behind the counter. They find all kinds of odds and ends.
If you print the tickets out... No you don't have to stand in line. Just give them your tickets and they'll tell you where to go...
Go to Fandango website and pay $6.95 shipping and handling. Doesn't really sound free to me. How much does it really cost to send a poster.
The age for a senior citizens is 65.... Best day to see a movie is on discount Tuesday
This site is like yelp telling you whats good, bad, if a place has a public restroom, plenty of parking, etc. If you want to know specifics about what movies, the brand of popcorn they use etc call them. It would have taken you far less time than asking a question you needed an answer to soon but ended up waiting for a day or longer... you could have called to find out in far less time. Some people dont understand how this works and dont read what this is supposed to be for. This just makes me laugh everytime I see it now. Roflmao!
Open seating
Their XD theatre room is closed because it is being renovated. When I was there to watch blade runner 2049, I saw they had a "demo" of these new really nice leather recliners. They are putting these in all of the theatre rooms, so around half of them are closed down at a time for them to be installed. Glad I can actually answer this!
I recommend using the Flixster app. It does a great job of saying what the showtimes are at the different theaters
