Beautiful little walk but it's best done early in the am as the parking lot is small. Watch for crossing slugs and bring a meal as there are tables at the big tree. The large skunk weeds make you feel just a little smaller. Added bonus, this trail is accessible! Though can be slippery. Haven't done the hiking trail portion as we didn't have the right shoes.

It really is like walking in Jurassic Park as someone mentioned prior. The sounds of the birds, nature and just life coming from the forest and trees is pretty amazing. The boardwalk is wheel chair accessible and safe for kids. Very easy walk. There is a dirt trail if you want to take that. It’s easy to miss this area when driving. The parking space is very little, so not a lot of parking space available and there are public restrooms.

Very nice little hike on a well designed ADA compliant boardwalk. Take someone you love in a wheelchair. No problem. Enjoyable. Leads to a tranquil cedar Grove. A couple picnick tables present.

Such a cool trail, with lots of neat things to observe. Our only suggestions would be a better sign at the road, a bigger parking lot, and some informative signs about the tree, trails, etc. All in all, an easy, delightful walk. Was a great way to work off some of our ice cream after visit the Tillamook cheese factory lol

Yes, no issue w it at all. Like Scott said, there's a boardwalk the whole way to a beautiful tree, and there is a little off-boardwalk trail as well for those feeling adventurous.
