Been shopping here for years....New owners have let some things go.... Went in to buy cat food, and sadly the size of cat good I wanted to buy was out of stock. Associate said they would order the larger size I wanted and would call me when it was in; was told it would take a few days to get in. I bought a small bag of the cat food my cats are used to eating to hold them over till the larger bag was in stock. Over a week went by and no call from the store, so I go in to see if it is in stock now and the status of my special order. Item was still not in stock and I find out that my special order was never put in, they did in fact have the order and was able to find my request but was never processed. I decided not to buy another small bag of cat food. (the point of the larger bags is a better price per pound of food). It is hard to support local businesses when the premium you are paying for customer service is lacking...Bought the size bag I requested on Amazon and will be here in 3 days to my door. Don't really see the point of this physical shop anymore.

I am very surprised by arriving at 6:40 pm to buy aquarium fish will get response that no fish sale after 6:30 pm. It is regular service should be available until the store is closed otherwise do not keep a fish sale at all and do not confuse buyer’s with unreasonable store rules.

Tried to exchange dog dish that I purchased the day before, I was offered a receipt but declined and tried to exchange today in its original packaging and was not able since I had no receipt. Also I do not like buying things that are not priced. I have spent hundreds over the last 5 years from dog toys, leashes, fish tanks etc, I will take my business elsewhere

Nice, and friendly to me.... Like this place for my furry buddies because the other choice is corporate Freddy's.....They are kind to only me and rude to my husband they the cashiers act like he is non existent....They frequently jump him in line and take a new customer. I have had to wait 15 minutes to be checked out here but I never get jumped in line. I think that there is something weird here with how they create an uncomfortable atmosphere for my husband who is the main animal care taker for our home. I have been a cashier for many places even a pet store. I have never skipped someone in line that was supposed to be next. I have even sent people who tried getting ahead in line by cutting back to the end of the line. Bad on your cashiers

Masks are required for both employees and customers as per Oregon guidelines. Plexi-glass at the counter protects both customers and employees. UV sterilizing is used on all acceptable returned products. Sanitizers are used on surfaces, door knobs and credit cards. A commercial humidifier maintains adequate moisture as recommended to keep any potential infection from deeply penetrating into the lungs. Limits are placed on the aquatics and reptile room to maintain proper social distancing. Markers on the floor indicate appropriate social distancing. Hand sanitizer is available at the entry. Masks are available for customers who require one.
Plain canned pumpkin 🙂
The animals they offer rotate. If you want to know what they currently have available you should call.
We currently have 2 white winter dwarf female hamsters and 1 fancy bear male hamster. However, as Cheryl noted it is best to call before you come in. Thank you for your interest.
I would call and ask them. They open at 11am today
We have a bulletin board in the store for posting. The board is used by customers looking for a specific animal and for those who need to rehome. Bring a notice and we will be happy to put it up for you. It is important to list specifics about the fish and to charge a rehoming fee. When someone pays a fee, you know that they are truly interested in the animal. We never recommend giving them for free unless you know the person who is taking the animal is dedicated to the well being of the animal.
They did last time i was in, if out of stock im sure they could order
I have only a couple of customers who have asked for this food, therefore I special order on a regular basis for those 2 customers. I would be happy to add you to a recurring order list. Just call the store or come in and we can set you up. Thank you for thinking of us. Brittany, we carry several brands of raw and freeze dried diets with various proteins. Some are with vegetables and some are not. They come in grinds, nuggets and patties. There is such a wide variety, I recommend that you come into the store and talk to one of my employees about which option is best for your pet.
We do not carry sugar gliders and I am unaware of any place that does sell them. You are welcome to place a request on our pet board at the store letting people know you are looking for one. We do have sugar glider customers. Also, I recommend checking out sugar glider rescue http://www.suggiesavers.org. Thank you for thinking of us.
