The Director, Julie, has continued to keep the doors open during this virus, epidemic. Even though they are not able to serve meals now, Julie is there working, and answering the phone, should someone in need, should call! She loves her job so much, she is getting married behind the building, sometime in August!

Julie,admin., will bend over to help in any way she can. Over all the senior community center is moderate in size few in numbers and enjoys a lovely crowd several days a week. Weather its jamin to the oldies live style, waging at bingo-gaming, group ceramics, painting or sewing, quilting, discussing gardening applications, join a class of yoga or dance, maybe play a game of pool, the list goes on and on! You'll find your smile at Scappoose Sr's Community Center.

These folks have some wonderful volunteers. I have been there and it is a beautiful big facility. There is a very hard working lady, Kay, who seems to work behind the scenes on a lot of things. She is quiet, but she sure gets things done. I think she volunteers as much time there as if it were a full time job.
