This is a great trail for bikers and pedestrians. The trail goes for a long ways along the area, and there's still so much I haven't seen yet. Goes through many suburban parks, too.

We loved our walk on the Rock Creek Trail. We started at Orenco Woods Nature Park (which is beautiful in its own right) and walked all the way to Hwy 26 and back. Lots of company on the walk, including bicycles and frisbee golf players which got distracting at times. Over all we liked the trail and I rate it 5 stars cause it is well maintained, so local and a long walking space.

Probably not... Could be... I don't know. Right now the water is higher than during the summer. Maybe you could find some rare finds when the water is low.
Absolutely...there are parts where you'll need to go slow due to the dense vegetation and curves.
