We got a room just to relax once we got back from vacation. Nice rooms, nice pool area. Kids love the giant chess and connect 4. And there are a few private first come first serve cabanas. For it's location it's a great stay

We stayed at The cove before heading out on a Royal Caribbean cruise. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. There breakfast buffet had many different options. We would definitely stay here again.

As of June 2022, the Cove is an underrated and hidden gem of a hotel in the Long Beach area that doesn’t break the bank. The rooms are renovated with modern colors and amenities along with being poolside. There are also lots of places to hang out to enjoy the beautiful weather. The staff are some of the most helpful and nicest staff I’ve interacted with and they’ve made the experience wonderful. I would say the downsides are the wifi signals are weak in the rooms (stronger by the front office) and that some clients do not adhere to the quiet time policies.

No discounts. I stayed here several times and No Discounts. But I did get accused of consuming Crack, Tweak, Meth bcs my visit had a Disabled Service Dog. Read the Texts. So don't stay here unless you want to be literally, kicked out, thrown out.
An 80 minute walk from the beach, not close at all. If you drive... it will take 15 minutes. Find a hotel closer to the beach, not this area. Yes, over an Hour walking distance!
No and they charged me $500 for professional cleaning even though I don't smoke and neither did my guest. It's a beautiful place but they are con artists
Did you have a Service Dog? You don't mention in the disagree answer. I did not have a dog it was my guest that had her Disabled Service Dog. To change gears, my visitor had a Disabled Service Dog and I was told, Your done, get in your vehicle and leave." Is the DSD an excuse to be kicked out, thrown out of The Cove? It would need to be negotiated with the manager, but most choice hotels will deal with those who frequent their establishment.
