Visited Irvine location for Father's Day outing. Food was very good & beer too! Be prepared to self serve for drinks and go to the bar to place your order. When we went it was easy and food came promptly. Enjoyable afternoon!

Had to stand in line for 20 minutes to place our order. Food took about half an hour to be "dropped off". Didn't have anything on the table (Salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard) and had to go to the bar and wait if we wanted anything. Table was dirty...had to find a rag and wipe it down ourselves. Not an awesome experience. Ordered the Reuben and asked that I get Cole slaw instead of the normal Sauerkraut. Was told they could do that but sandwich came with sauerkraut. Took so long that I just ate it anyway. Daughter got a side of Mac-n-cheese...tasted like buttered noodles with some grated parmesan sprinkled on top. Other child got chicken sandwich...it had been left in the deep fryer waaaaaay to long. Tasteless and drier than shoe leather. Son was happy with his brisket sandwich. Tab came to $114 for 3 adults and a child where we had an average of 2 large beers each. Wasn't sure how to tip given the service level was more like a Wendy's than even a casual sit down restaurant. Craft beer selection was good and liked that they sold it in 5oz ($2), 10oz ($4) and 16oz ($6) sizes. Might be a good place for craft beer fans to go to sit at the bar and sample a bunch of different beers. Just bring your own food ;-]

Food was good. The brioche bun was spot on! The meat was tender and yummy but wish there was a little bit more bc it was tasty. The spicy BBQ sauce isn't too hot and has plenty of flavor. The fries are cooked and seasoned very well. Staff was kind and attentive. Food was served quickly.

Only tried the IPA and it is not to my taste. Brussel sprouts were acceptable, mostly because the sauce didn't go along well. The corn bread is outstanding, just dense enough and the right balance of sweetness and saltiness. The outdoor seating is nice but can use some cleaning. It is somewhat inconvenient to need to go in to order, especially if you are not quite done with your existing drink or food. Service is friendly.

It's spam. But it opened 2 days ago, so stop by and enjoy!
Yes, they have a nice, separate, room, for special events.
During lunch time, pretty busy. Based on how long I waited with a few people before me, I'd guesstimate you'd wait some 10-15 minutes before placing your order if you arrive at around 12:15. I'd recommend arriving well before noon. No experience with after-work times, sorry.
South County IPA will be back this September. It's our FALL limited release. Cheers!
