honestly, i had a fairly unpleasant experience shopping at this ralph’s. there were only two people in front of me when i went to checkout. however, when it was the turn of the woman in front of me, I realized she was an employee at the store there to get cash out her paycheck. not an issue, but it ended up taking over 15 minutes. she was extremely kind and apologized multiple times, but the cashier just chatted away about work and never once glanced back at me waiting in line. she greeted me with a half-hearted ‘hi,’ when it was my turn and that was all. after heading home, i was halfway through drinking kombucha i had bought in the refrigerated drinks section, when i saw that the drink had expired 2 months before. i’ll attach a photo taken july 2nd that shows its expiration date on 5/8/22! i frequently shopped at the ralph’s on alton before moving, and now am not looking forward to making this ralph’s my neighborhood grocery store.

expired cakes are constantly sold here, it’s better not to go to the confectionery department. when I went to the store a few days later, they were selling expired products again

Today the Confectionery Manager refused to discount the EXPIRED CAKE! Its expiration date was YESTERDAY! these cakes were always there for 3 dollars, but she refused to give a discount! I think she's getting them! And besides, they always sell expired goods in the confectionery department! And maybe they fix the dates instead of throwing the goods away!

Located in Woodburry (Irvine), this is one out of two Ralph’s that I really like to shop at because it’s very clean, organized, a very friendly staff, and definitely has a whole lot of what I would want and priced reasonably well or better. This particular location in Woodbury, while close to home, it’s probably on par with the one in Tustin Ranch.
