This Gelson's market is the neatest market that I have ever seen. It's high class. Everything is so organized and well stacked up. No shelves are messy. The salad bar is so clean with all serving tongs being properly put in all dishes with no food spilled or dropped on the edges of the serving containers, because they constantly clean up and organize everything. The aisles are so clean with no obstacles that you may trip over. With cool air and no huge crowd bumping into each other all the time, or kids running around screaming, it's quite an enjoyment to shop at this market. Since there is no disturbance, I was able to look at a lot of things thoroughly and bought new items that I never knew existed. The staff are very attentive to customers. As I was walking, a woman employee who was moving a cart of goods said, "How are you today?" What a nice surprise! I was greeted and thanked by several staff there today, even the helper who got to the check-out stand after the cashier had already put my stuff in the bag, thanked me also with a big smile as if he loved his job and took it seriously (I saw him earlier diligently collecting carts in the parking lot and had a good impression about this market.) I felt that Gelson hired the rigth people for the right jobs. At other markets, usually I was the one to thank the helper. It made me feel being welcomed. I had a very pleasant shopping experience there, and sure will go back again. After all, people pay to get a good shopping experience.

I went on Saturday around 12:30pm... it wasnt particularly crowded but tjeu only had two cashiers. It took me over 20 minutes to checkout. I was buying three things. Boo...

Location is clean, lots of food options, sushi bar, wine bar, and awesome bakery but a bit on the pricey side. The food options do not justify the value you get for your money. I’ll be back to the bakery though 👌🏽

I usually enjoy shopping at Gelsons. They have great variety and their craving station is fantastic. I have now been to this Gelsons twice to get a sandwich from the craving station and both times they have been extremely late getting the meats out. The operating hours for the station are 11-7. I got there at 11 and waited until 1140 and still no sandwiches. I could understand if they were super busy but that wasn't the case either time. I decided to just buy some pre-made food and went to check out. The only cashier with their light on for me to check out was ringing one customer out. When he finished he gave me a growl look and when I said hi how are you today he said nothing. He then started ringing out my items with a very aggressive look on his face. I had about 20 items and he rudely asks me if I need a bag. The cashier name was Mark. I have to say the cashiers at Albertsons at Quail Hill are always so nice and friendly. I would except friendly service at Gelsons where they are an upscale grocery store and especially at the prices they charge. I guess when I want something extra special going forward I will shop at the new Bristol Farms at the spectrum.
