What I am about to share is heartfelt and not a prompted response. I cannot be any more satisfied with this lathe, and GMC for their sales & help along the way. A shipping glitch worked its ugly head into my purchase but did not undermine the great experience offered through GMC sales (Nancy ) or the service dept.. A future posting will supply the facts of the operation of the GMC1440BFG . Look for it ... it will be detailed .

I sent an email to Nancy asking about a part for a saw we purchased that needed a component. I did not have a manual available to identify the part correctly and almost immediately she responded with a manual so I could accurately identify the part. Once that was done she go back to me with price, availability and shipping. Great company, quick response time and I am sure we will be dealing with the company again. Tom
