Yara da Silva Heying
They treat you with disrespect. I called asking for assistance and the person who answered the call told me that "others do this service everyday" as to implying that I was the problem - she was sarcastic on the phone and also suggested that I paid for a third party service to conduct business with the Consulate - that makes me think (kickbacks???) They are not helpful at all, they try everything to get you off the phone - good luck dealing with them.

The consulate is very stressful. It was a couple day process to get my visa approved to move to Brazil, but the employees are understanding and when you treat them with respect you get the same in return. I can’t thank them enough for working with me in such a short timeline... especially Sandra at the VISA desk. Thank you so much!!!

I have been going to this consulate for 25 years. They have come a long way and it is awesome now. I requested our Brazilian passports (all done online, great), and just went in to show the original documents. Could have done that by mail, but we live less than 10 miles away. My total time in the office was 7 minutes, for three passports, and the lady checked everything agains the online version of my application. Super fast, super friendly. I was very impressed. And the passports were ready in 2 days (yes, two days). Thank you so much for the great service!

$160 for a US passport to get a visa to Brazil
Agree... I’ve tried calling for a apt and nothing.. the recorder is on repeat, no option to speak to a rep.
No need if you go to USA after visiting Brazil. Panama and Colombia will ask Yellow fever when travelling from Brazil.
Is there any place in the in San Fernando valley California?
There's underground parking beneath the building.
You can call them or you can go in person for question, but if you need their services you need an appointment
American citizens no longer need visa to enter Brazil. Just make sure that you have your new passport with you. http://losangeles.itamaraty.gov.br/en-us/visas.xml
No vou dont need an appointment. Make sure that you filled the forms online on their website and get the post office money order. And arrive there not later than 10 am
Go to the website make an appointment and you'll have the list of documents necessary
Why no translation option here??
As a Peruvian, you could enter Brazil only with a passport and without a visa, since Peru is an associate member of Mercosur. Confirm this information with the Consulate.
I live in SAN Diego, I need to get a power of attorney. I don't know exactly how to proceed,
To go to Brazil they were asking for PCR tests within 3 days of your trip, that was on April though. They could be accepting other kinds of test now but you have to check on the Consulate website. Good luck!
Hello Cristina, I advise you better to stay at the Intercontinental Hotel. They told me that hotel is very beautiful inside and has more attention to people. Merry Christmas ☃️🎄
If you are a green card holder, you don't need a stamp. If you have a temporary visa (business, tourist...) you must have a stamp or you will be illegal and you can be deported. I'm not sure about stamps if you are a permanent resident on a visa (work visa, religious visa...).
Hey Isabel. All the info are available at their website. If you speak Portuguese, the info are even more detailed. Personally, I don't know the procedure for CPF, but procuração os fairly easy and you can do it online, just needing to show up at the consulate to pick it up.
CPF
Yes. It's here if you need it.
Yes they are open
Just Google it to find Brazilian consulate website for ur area or country then look up for passport renew requirement
You mean entering the country as. Foreign national arriving in Campinas? Depends mostly on passing customs. If you are thinking of trying to enter with something prohibited, inwould highly recommend to not try. Brazilian lockup is no joke.
Google Maps is for location information, for specific information on the consulate, contact them directly.
If you hold a Chile passport, you do not require a visa for business or tourist purpose. No need to schedule any appointment with the consulate, if you do plan to travel for other reasons such as work or studies you will require a visa.
This is Google Maps. It is a form for location and access. I suggest you contact the consulate directly for the information you're looking for.
You can make an appointment online on the consulate web page dieectly.
The cost for an eVisa is 44.24, you can either do the application process yourself through the consulate site or by using a third party that would charge you for the full service usually 40-90 depending on the company.
Schedules and Follow Instructions
If you apply for the eVisa, which is only valid for 2 years, they are approved within 5 business. If you apply for the traditional 10 year visa, they are issued in 5 days if you make an appointment in advance or 2 weeks if you go through an expediting third party company. Also yellow fever vaccine if going through certain amazon areas.
I have the same question
You will need VISA.
Your Visa remains valid as long as you have not had a name change. If your passport expires and you renew it, the Visa will still be valid as long as you travel with both passports for the duration of the Visa. - expedited Visa agent
They only accept USPS money orders. So, you have to go to the Post Office
Confirm schedules at http://losangeles.itamaraty.gov.br/pt-br/
Doubt?
