I interviewed several agencies and ended up hiring JFS Care to provide someone to come in and help my grandmother twice per week. They paired her with a nice woman and she is now coming three days a week as our needs have increased. My grandmother is happy to have her help and they get along very well. I would definitely recommend JFS Care!

JFSCARE provides an invaluable life saving service. Some caregivers honestly care for the person that they are committed to. I have had the fortune to have had a few with these distinguished interest to help. Unfortunately the agency because the need to fill demand, have selected persons who have had no training nor the interest that is demanded for this profession. A few have have been offensive in their attitude. However, I do thank JFSCares for their service. As of this moment I have two persons who portrait great compassion.

If your personal care assistant calls in sick, we will call you immediately to ask if you would like a replacement in home caregiver. If you indicate that you would like a replacement caregiver sent to your home, we will make every effort to send a replacement caregiver as quickly as possible for you.
The JFS Care office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. If you require assistance after 5 pm or over the weekend, a live operator will answer your call and connect you with our On-Call Home Care Manager.
Our personal care assistants are fingerprinted for screening through the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We also complete a criminal background check and driving record report for each caregiver via a national security firm. Additionally, we perform random drug testing and diligently verify all references for new applicants. All applicants must undergo a personality evaluation and in-person interview by our HR coordinator. If hired, all personal care assistants are required to participate in our training protocols with our care managers and HR coordinator.
Yes. All of our personal care assistants and office employees are fully insured and bonded for your safety, protection and peace of mind.
Yes. JFS Care is a California Licensed Home Care Agency with the Home Care Service Bureau. Our license number is 194700007.
All we require is a minimum of one hour of care for our home care and housekeeping services. We make every effort to accommodate your service needs.
The price of our services is determined based upon your unique needs. Once we are able to assess your care needs by phone or in person, we can provide you with pricing information.
